Cookie Policy
Effective date: 1 August 2025
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones Seerist (operated by Lyvena) uses, which need your consent, and how to turn them off. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are and How We Use Them
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how pages perform, and understand where visitors came from. We also use related technologies — local storage and tracking pixels — and treat them the same way in this policy.
We group everything we use into three categories, described below.
2. Essential — no opt-out
Required for the platform to work. These cannot be switched off, because without them you cannot sign in or use the product safely.
- Session management — keeps you signed in and tied to the right workspace
- Security — CSRF protection, abuse and bot mitigation, load balancing
No consent is required for essential cookies, and they are never used for advertising.
3. Analytics
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, no consent required. It sets no cookies at all and uses aggregated telemetry only: page views, load performance and referrer, with no cross-site tracking and no personal identifiers. Details: developers.cloudflare.com/web-analytics · Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- PostHog — first-party analytics cookie, consent required in the EU. PostHog sets a first-party cookie to track product events and stitch a session together (feature usage, funnels, where people drop off). Data is processed in the EU. If you are in the EEA or UK we only set it after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Cookie documentation: posthog.com/docs/privacy/gdpr-compliance · Privacy policy: posthog.com/privacy
4. Marketing / CRM — consent required
- HubSpot — a CRM tracking pixel and cookies used to recognise a returning visitor, link a form submission to the pages that led to it, and measure marketing campaigns. The cookies HubSpot sets on seerist.xyz are:
HubSpot cookies
- __hstc — main visitor tracking cookie (domain, first visit, last visit, session count)
- hubspotutk — visitor identifier that links a form submission to a contact record
- __hssc — session tracking, used to work out whether the session count should increment
- __hssrc — flag used to detect whether the visitor restarted the browser
These are set only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time. HubSpot cookie documentation: knowledge.hubspot.com — cookies HubSpot sets · Privacy policy: legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
5. Checkout Cookies Set by Creem
Payments are handled by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), our Merchant of Record. When you go through checkout, Creem may set its own cookies on its checkout pages for session security and fraud prevention. Those cookies are controlled by Creem, not by us — please refer to Creem's Cookie Policy and privacy documentation: creem.io/legal/privacy-policy
6. How to Manage or Disable Cookies
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the platform from working; blocking analytics and marketing cookies will not.
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal, and private/incognito windows discard cookies when you close them. To withdraw marketing consent or ask us to erase data already collected, email info@seerist.xyz.
